Our Rolling Assembly Dynamometer (RAD) systems provide unbiased, repeatable measurement of resistance in rotating components and assemblies.
The RAD system is a tool designed to provide a practical, easy-to-use solution for clearly defining the specification of how a “smooth” spinning assembly should perform. It is the first of its kind to optimize torque-on-the-fly.
The system identifies inconsistency by accurately measuring the torque required to spin a rotating assembly – such as a transmission, differential, gearbox, axle or pump. By recording a series of torque signatures, the tool can determine if the final product was correctly assembled.
